Established in 1975 and incorporated under the present name in 1977, Quality Plating Limited originally focused on decorative metal finishing for jewellery and novelties. Our operations have since expanded to include other fields, such as casting and enamelling.

What is Electroplating?
Electroplating is the process of coating an electrically conductive object with a layer of metal through the use of electrical current.
This is done by placing the object to be coated in a bath of metal salts and allowing direct current to flow through the bath. This current oxidizes the free metal ions, causing them to dissolve and attach themselves to the object.
It takes a great deal of skill and experience to ensure an even coating. In their quest for a deep and even finish, our technicians at Quality Plating Limited will most often use a multi-stage, multi-layer process. Why Do I Need Metal Polishing?
Polishing entails an essential part of the electroplating service. During this step, we make sure to remove all blemishes and imperfections prior to coating.
We carry out all work in-house, with top-of-the-line equipment that lets us offer a plating service that’s up to standard for both trade and private customers.
At each stage of the plating process, we incorporate additional inspection points to ensure that the final result is of the highest quality before shipping or pick-up.
